It is supposed to technically support the reporting process and enable the management and aggregation of results in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) system. The tool should be based on existing, proven software that has already demonstrated its effectiveness and usability. The monitoring tool should support the following needs to a maximum extent: i. indicator-based monitoring of GIZ India s BMZ results matrices and for organising indicators according to such logframe structures. It must be able to include and process different types of indicators, including disaggregation according to their definition ii. separating and connecting data tables in a relational data base iii. flexible analysis of interlinked data iv. processes to enter and edit data v. processes for a quality control of newly entered data vi. present data in dashboards, including options to visualise data vii. export data for further processing and analysis viii. select and export data for reporting by choosing specific variables and data sets from various tables ix. user management system that allows for assigning users to different data sets x. open to flexible adaptations to future arising needs (due to, e.g., changes in indicators or data collection, additional requirements for data analysis or reporting) xi. accessible web-based, worldwide, also with low-bandwidth internet connection, with a high level of reliability and data security xii. hosted and maintained by the provider with a high level of reliability and data security.
